Like to start of by thanking you for taking the time to read this :) . 20 y/o male from Ontario, Canada & I joined about 2 or 3 days ago, just never got around to posting.

I'm pretty much new to the hobby of model car building. I prefer the 1/24 scale muscle cars(chevys)/trucks but thinking about giving a 1/8 a try for my next project. Got into it about, 8 years back when I got a snap together model for christmas ;) . Since then I've been on and off taking a break but keep coming back :). Found about 4 or 5 completed 2nd skill level's mostly AMT's & Revells (each 1 of them being my expeirence for the next). I'll post pics of them after I clean them up & put some parts back on but @ the moment I'm just finishing up a '86 monte carlo from revell.

Feels good to come across a site like this with help, because after seeing peoples amazing work on here and reading through the tips I now know I have alot more skills I can improve on :D

Welcome, Dylan.

You're right about this being a great place to pick up new skills; these guys and gals are incredible, and more than willing to share.

I look forward to seeing your stuff.

Welcome Dylan, Lots to learn here, lots to look at. Where about are you in Ontario? Because there are a few shows a year in Southern Ontario that are great for talking to other modellers and picking up kits. Two coming up in the next coulpe months in Toronto area. Just have fun with it.

The body I had painted and put away for a break so some parts on in it got scuffed up abit & my side windows I glue bombed -_- (any tips on how to improve puttin in windowsm im using that testors glue that comes in the red tube, is there a certain way to use it, or is there a different glue to buy? but here's a link to some models I've previously built & the finished Monte' :D. Comments & tips & how to improve for future builds would be awesome :D!(easy on the judging, like I said im still new to this :P) http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78328&p=995110
