slusher Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 The instruction sheet on my 37 ford says " do not dip in water cut out and glue with white glue" That would look bad with the backing on. Has anyone done this or just use water??
maltsr Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I think this may be referring to the licence plate decals, this is the method I use on all my kits. Sometimes instrument gauge decals may be applied this way to the back of the dashboard. I apply all other decals the regular way by first soaking in water.
slusher Posted August 14, 2013 Author Posted August 14, 2013 Thanks paul that thru me off. l do use the backing on behind the dash gauges...
Deathgoblin Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Personally, I'd use a piece of styrene about the same size and put the decal on that instead of using the paper backing.
