keone2013
Hi. Here is the start of my mustang. I plan on opening the doors as well as the trunk. I also plan on adding fiber optics to light up the car. Any helpful tips would be appreciated, Thanks for looking.

dantewallace
I attempted fiber optics on my GT500 and they just weren't bright enough no matter what I used. I went to LED's instead.

I just got the door hinges done. Trying to mold the door and door jams. Also going to order some resin wheels from a guy in Menomonee Falls Edited August 26, 2013 by keone2013

I heard that makes them brighter.
dantewallace
Yup, I tried that just as the written instructions mentioned but it barely made a difference. I think I could have gotten better results with a larger size but then it wouldn't fit the application it was intended for. I wanted to illuminate all of the controls on the dash and guage cluster. Kaleb
Something that large, LEDs are the way to go. You would have to bunch several strands together and use a super bright led to get the results you want. freakshow12
That trim on top of door stays with the car. It's the weathrstrip. I may have to convert one of these to 14 spec. So I can build my car

keone2013
Also changed out the deck decal and put in a GPS screenshot and some headrest monitors. Also made some scale sized Scale Auto Enthusiast magazines.
