Jeep Honcho p/u And CJ -7

Heres my "jeeps on the mountain"

both models are primarily box stock...... I need to glue my lights back on the honcho's roll bar and the antenna whip

Honcho mods: chrome cj 7 rims stock tires,,,,,,, added spare tire holder for bed, grafted a amt Plymouth duster firewall for more detail (original is flat with no detail) so wiper motor and master cylander added with guitar string brake lines, guitar string carb stud for air cleaner mount, mated a cj7 manual tranny to the jeep honcho block and drilled round hole in floor for shifter to mate with manual tranny (normally automatic) why an auto in a jeep? I fixed that wagon!

cj mods: box stock! I only added wires to all offroad light and winch added chain to winch, all the offroad tires and lift blocks are from amt gmc offroad pickup!

another kit that Revell did a great job on; those Honcho trucks were actually pretty rare in real life... wasn't the last reissue called "Pink Poison"? in some kind of post-apoc themed line? shoulda grabbed a dozen of those.....

That's the one that became the Pink Poison- as far as I know they never released it as Mr. Deadwrench, it was just shown that way in the catalog.

Anyway, love all of these! I think it's about high time Revell brought that J10 Honcho out one more time.

would be nice if they repopped the kit and tooling, but added some firewall detailing..... what is up with revell monogram and very flat bland firewalls on most model kits of theirs??
