PowerPlant Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Hello! Nice Stang However, to be honest, those wheels look somewhat too large under it... You might want to widen the fenders a bit and tuck them in a little As for the RB26, Hobby Design offers this: http://www.hlj.com/product/hydhd03-0214/Aut

And like I said on the first reply, the are a little to wide but should look ok now
o-man Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Wheels are a little big but looks good. Are you going to leave them bronze or paint them another color? Have you thought about trimming the mounting area back so they go under the fenders? I really want to compliment you on your work! This and your other models look great!

I thought about modifying the wheels but there is no more room inside the fenders... And I kinda like it like that, in person they don't look too brute. And yes I'm gonna lave them bronze.
NALEX129 Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 Decals and bumpers on. Next will be BMF... my first time using it, we'll see how it comes out..
NALEX129 Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Ready for its 289 Believe or not this is the paint I used (no clear coat btw) can't get any better than $3.50 per can . Polished with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax.
NALEX129 Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) First time ever I apply BMF.. The most difficult thing to do in models I'm gonna do it again.. Edited September 13, 2013 by NALEX129
Skydime Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 That's a pretty valiant effort for your first BMF!
NALEX129 Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 That's a pretty valiant effort for your first BMF! Thanks, man that thing is pretty difficult to work with
slusher Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Your a natural at models Arnaldo. Foil and stripes look great..
NALEX129 Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Did the windshield and doors and I think came out great. I few hour ago a hated BMF, now I kinda like it!
NALEX129 Posted September 13, 2013 Author Posted September 13, 2013 Your a natural at models Arnaldo. Foil and stripes look great.. Thanks, since I was a little kid I always liked drawing and paintings and anything that had to do with car detailing, I don't know how I never got into models..
Blown03SVT Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 BMF is tricky to get the hang of. I am sure I look silly while doing it. One eye closed, head cocked, tongue poking out the corner of my mouth all while holding my breath. Looks good for the first attempt and great on the second attempt.
om617 Posted September 13, 2013 Posted September 13, 2013 Very nice. Did you use bmf on engine room detal as well?
