I would like to add ribbed valve covers to a Trans Am Firebird 400 c.i. engine in 1/24 scale and wondering if Chevy (small block / big block) aftermarket parts will work? There seems to be many more choices for Chevy parts than for Pontiac so thought that might be the way to go.

The valve covers I need do not show a manufacturer (e.g., M/T) so any of the nice aftermarket pieces would look good.

Competition Resins has a bunch of nice valve covers. I like their Late Model Pro Stock set. They are like the ones on BB Chevy motors and are blank. They have a link over in the resin and aftermarket forum.

You might try looking at a newer released 68 firebird kit. Revell did two versions stock/drag, that kit might have what you need.
