Steve_L Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 The AMT 2012 Corvette Convertible kit is up-to-date, but is a curbside. The Revell 2006 Z06 kit is out-of-date but has full detail. These are pictures of my project to combine the two kits to create an up-to-date build with full detail. I used the 2012 AMT body, wheels, tires and the 2006 Z06 chassis, suspension, interior bucket and drive train. I substituted the 2006 Z06 headlight buckets for those of the AMT kit. I also used the Z06 hood with the convertible body. I was pleased at how well the two manufacturer's parts fit together and am happy to add a late model corvette to my model car collection. Enjoy!
