1958 Chevy Apache 4x4

Yes another scratch builder here I got a 58 Chevy apache 4x4 and its a 1/2 ton. I tried to replicate a 1:1 scale truck as best as I could.

Growing up there was a local Standard Oil station near me that had one of these in red as their road service truck. Nice job on this build and I wish this was available as a kit!

^{Mike , actually, a kit WAS available . Problem is , it was an S M P annual and then only sold as a Promotional . I remember wayyyyyyyyyy back I think it was F & F who actually offered it as a resin kit .When Ed Fluck passed away and his son took over an became Drag City, we lost a lot of really good stuff.Yes, this and several other trucks off the top of my head would make GREAT candidates for an "Enterprising " model manufacturer to re release or do a new tool of ...................}
