Wonderbread Kustomz Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Got this kit in a big box of trade goodies from a buddy of mine in Canada... Decided to go old school lowrider with it... I went with Supremes mounted on 5.20s... interior is in primer and cut a hollywood top out....
Skydime Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 Looking sweet. I have a question though. This is the first time I have noticed. Does this kit have a carpeted dash pad cover molded in?
Blown03SVT Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 No, definitely has to be embossing powder under the primer
PowerPlant Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I also got one of these as a surprise in a trade recently... Still not exactly sure what I'll do with it, but I did consider going low so I'll be watching this with interest Looks good topless, and I definitely like the fuzzy dash
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted September 10, 2013 Author Posted September 10, 2013 Thanks guys... No , Ken, the dash wasnt molded like that... I definitely used Embossing powder under the primer.... I wanted to do something different and I like how it turned out....
PappyD340 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Looks good James, like the dash idea that's different!!
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 Thanks guys... as soon as we get moved Ill be back on this again... Spending the rest of the day today and tomorrow morning packing since tomorrow night we will be driving up to Michigan.
Chris White Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Hey James, for the record, you got allot of buddies up here in Canada. Keep up the nice builds
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Wow, I almost couldn't find this... Well, I'm back on it again... Managed to get it in paint and the interior is getting there... Changed the rims to these astro supremes from the 49 Ford kit with 5.20 whitewalls....
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted May 26, 2014 Author Posted May 26, 2014 Got the interior pretty much done and the first coat of clear on...
