o-man Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 I fiddled with front end. Found engine bay was not sitting on pins so I enlarged holes and it sits "better". Now the hood doesn't close and front fascia wont sit all the way against fenders.. Plastic wins; I'm tired of taking this thing apart. I think they all look like they sit up in the front due to front wheel opening higher than rear one. I've seen two others posted and they both look that way; and one even has the hood issue. It ain't Tamiya fit and finish. On to the pictures. Sorry about the hood support, I lost the rod that came with car.
crazyjim Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Another SHINY :) one. What paint did you use on that guy?

Austin T Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Looks good, although you have some serious camber.
PappyD340 Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Looks good Oscar, but there is definately a rear wheel issue for some reason.
Danno Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 I usually don't comment on a model until it's finished. Not sure about this one. Is it?
o-man Posted September 15, 2013 Author Posted September 15, 2013 I usually don't comment on a model until it's finished. Not sure about this one. Is it? Its as finished as I am going to make it. When the frustration with front end wears off, I may try some radical surgery to see if I can get nose to fit. So, C & C welcomed
LokisTyro Posted September 16, 2013 Posted September 16, 2013 I like it. The solid color on the rear valance is a nice touch. I wonder if there's a way to make hippari/stance/stretched style tires from stockers. Maybe with a little heat. Not really my thing so I'll leave it to anyone else who wants to try Good work though.
