Who else is hooked? I figured there was no way out for Hank and Gomez. They were just plain outgunned. Now I'm wondering about that teaser scene from a month ago, when Walt showed up in the old Cadillac to get his ricin. I think what will hapen is that he becomes the subject of a huge manhunt (hence the neighbor's surprise). He goes back to Albequrque and goes after the guys who killed Hank and took his 70million bucks, with the help of the M60 in the trunk.

I was talking about this with a friend who thought that Walt was out of character because of what he said over the phone, but I think it goes along with the idea that getting involved in the drug trade made everything spiral out of control, and Walt has been kind of irrational all along. In earlier episodes I thought his dedication to Jesse was just dumb. Jesse was too unreliable & unpredictable.

Love this show..will be interesting to see how it wraps up. What you said is kind of how I think it's going to wind up, with the family going into witness protection and dissapearing.

I have a Heisenberg figure, would love to have a model of Walt's Aztek and Heisenberg's 300 SRT8... :)

It's probably my favorite TV show since The Sopranos and The Wire a decade ago...so well written and such complicated characters..

Walt was well aware that Skyler wasn't alone and that the cops were listening in. By sounding like an abusive psychopath, he's trying to shift blame away from Skyler and make her sound more like a victim than an accomplice... note that he says NOTHING about the car wash and her money-laundering activities.

I was hoping desperately that there was some way out for Hank, who has grown into one of my favorite TV characters of all time, but they gave him a fantastic end. "He made up his mind ten minutes ago"... I got goosebumps. This last episode was heartbreaking in so many ways- it's all the stuff you knew had to happen (Walt Jr. finding out about Walt's business, Hank's untimely end, Walt going on the run, etc) but the way it was delivered was like a big gut punch. Walt turning Jesse over to the Nazis was chilling as well.

The last two episodes are going to be insane. I don't even want to speculate on how things are going to go down, because whatever's in my head won't be nearly as twisted and brilliant as Vince Gilligan can dream up. I can't wait.

I actually didn't catch that first viewing...but it makes sense - Walt was so upset, trying to "tell her off"...

Hank going down without begging, still holding his moral compass, was a great ending, if there is such a thing, to his character life.

My wife and I are considering watching all the episodes again - I am sure we will catch a lot of things we missed first time around.

I'll probably watch the whole series again eventually. I didn't watch it the last 5 years when it was on regularly--discovered it back in March of this year (after so many friends asked if I watched it, thought I'd check it out) and have been streaming all the episodes to catch up ('binging', as they say).

Yeah I may watch them again, too. I don't even remember the ricin cigarettes or the "logic" in poisoning the kid.

Did you catch Vince Gilligan's interview on...ugh...I don't remember if it was the Daily Show or Colbert, but one of them asked if there really is such a thing as blue meth. He replied "There is now". LOL

I'm re-watching from the beginning now (thanks, Netflix!) and am about halfway through the second season. This show definitely requires repeat viewings to get all the nuances and subtleties in plot and dialog.
