I just downloaded ios 7 to my iphone as the full public version just became available. There are a couple things I don't like visually. But I sure do like the new functionalities!

There were so many people downloading it right as it became available, I had to try it about five times. I also had to make sure all apps were closed as well.

Took a while to get going yesterday with a 4s and seemed slow, but "fixed" itself somehow. This seems to be the rule with all of the updates from Apple that I put on my older machines/products. I like the look and it works fine. It's different without buying a new phone. I think Apple has succeeded in separating itself from the Android pack in term of being able to recognize an iPhone from across the room again.

It's interesting being able to compare and contrast the iPhone and Android phones daily.. I'm on my 2nd personal Android phone (Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD) and have had an iPhone 5 for work for the last year. There are definitely pros and cons to each.

So, I have been reading where there is a security breech in the new ios. The new thing (which I cannot remember the name) where you slide up from the bottom, needs to be disabled on the lock screen. Otherwise people can access your photos and some other info and use your email or social media account to send it to themselves.

I have to say that, after using this for a week, I am starting to get really annoyed at the fact that everything is so stinking bright white. Although I like most changes, I am sure Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave.
