KevinMoparFord Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Finished this up today. Kit is 1/32 in scale with no engine detail. I built it box stock but tried a few new things. First time I have bare metal foiled the details first, painted and then used a toothpick with lacquer thinner to clean them back up. Car had no chrome parts, so the bumpers were done up in Wisconsin and the rest of the parts like grille, hub caps, mirrors, wipers and tail light were done with Alclad chrome. Color is Boyd's Ice Blue pearl with Omni urethane clear. Top is Duplicolor Low Gloss Black enamel. Bare metal foil for all trim.
Erik Smith Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Great looking little model. I really like those ARII 1/32 kits - well, most of them. They are great subjects and can be finished up nice with a little work. Great job. I like the color choice.
charlie8575 Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 One of the prettier cars to come out of Japan. Nice work on that one. Charlie Larkin
