BigBlockLyle Posted November 9, 2007 Posted November 9, 2007 Well, I think I'll post one of my favorite builds that I have done as of yet. It is the Monogram 1957 Chevy Bel Air 1/12 from 1995. I bought it at an auction for $8 still in the box. I built it as a street machine in a classic way. I have added screens to the velocity stacks, Purple Hornies to the exhaust, blue dots to the tailights, and custom plates. It is painted Testors Transparent Candy Apple Red over a white base. This is my first 1/12 and I think I did a fair job on it for my first one. Well, what does everyone think of it?
dub Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Looks good! The more large scale I see, the more I feel the need to conquer one of those. I know they are more work, but I'm sure the satisfaction with the finshed product far outweighs it! All of these monsters I see built up on here look phenomenal, and yours is no exception. I also want to add, the price sure was right too!
Gregg1LE Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Great job ! Makes me want to pull mine from the stash.......
