Rob McKee Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Nothing special about this build. Right out of the box with the exception of ignition wires added. The wires are a little to thick. It really is a good kit to build with no real issues. The final fit of the body to the chassis need a few minor adjustments but that was really about it.
ERIK88 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 nice , clean build i have the same kit. the decals are ruined though lol. can u take a side pic?

I have a few of these kits and the decals are ruined in 2 of them. Even this one they weren't in great shape as you can see with this picture.
kelson Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I recently built the 96 'cobra convertible,it's a good kit,but the wheels and tires seemed a little undersized and I noticed you had the same issue with the front end sitting high.
Rob McKee Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Thanks for all of the nice comments. I agree with you Curtis, there seems to be to much room in the fenders for those tires. Actually they were like that right from the factory. I think the front end could have been lowered some to make it look better.
Terminator-Fox Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Looks good, unfortunately these cars looked like 4X4's from the factory and you even gotta lower them with the kit haha. I've just started using microscale for my old kits and the decals come off the backing no problem.
Kennyboy Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Very nice looking build Rob! I started with this kit for my Mystic Cobra convertible build. I did lower it but it was not easy with the suspension from the kit.
Rob McKee Posted October 11, 2013 Author Posted October 11, 2013 Thanks for all of the nice comments everyone.
