Kennyboy Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 Wow Mike! That car has really cool lines! Love how the front comes down from the a-pillar forward.
Mike Kucaba Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Well this and the SR-2 have been kicking my butt. My best friend has been Magic-sculpt putty and 60 grit sandpaper. Glad I get my sandpaper and other stuff cheap from retiree sales at 3M
Len Woodruff Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 This one will be kool too Mike. So the Magic Sculpt putty is a 3-M product?
Mike Kucaba Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 No Len just the sandpaper. Magic-Sculpt I got from ebay. I see everyone always talking up Milliput. That stuff is great, but oh so expensive. I bought 5 lbs of Magic-Sculpt for $30.00! I use it for all the heavy work, sand it then use the polyester 2-part to glaze over it.
Ira Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 GREAT START on a GREAT SUBJECT!!! I'll be watching...
Mike Kucaba Posted October 14, 2013 Author Posted October 14, 2013 Thanks again Dan, If I get anywhere with these two I may get inspired to get back to the 1/16th Predicta.
Mike Kucaba Posted October 30, 2013 Author Posted October 30, 2013 Well No update as I've hit a wall with the front end. Pictures when I have something worth showing.
