cz452 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 We are also looking for venders for our show model's, after market and other stuff related to model making the more the better for all.
charlie8575 Posted October 26, 2013 Posted October 26, 2013 This is the club near Columbus, correct? Cars of '43 will be an interesting trick, unless you plan on seeing a bunch of Olive Drab Ford staff cars. Hmmm..... Charlie Larkin
59 Impala Posted October 27, 2013 Posted October 27, 2013 Yes Charlie, this is the Buckeye Scale Auto Club in Columbus Ohio. We are getting bigger and better every year. I belong to the club and I am also a vender there. We've had a lot of great models show up at our contest and the venders ain't bad either. Our upcomming show should be a great one again in 2014. If you ever get a chance to come please do. Jim Haught from Scale Auto has been there all three previous years to take pictures and we're hoping that someone from Model Cars magazine will come and take some pictures also. Hope to see a bunch of new faces this coming March. Dan
jas1957 Posted October 28, 2013 Posted October 28, 2013 If you want coverage in Model Cars get someone in your club to photograph & collect the information. That's what we do in Toledo. Contact Gregg & get the information on how to do that.
Repstock Posted October 29, 2013 Posted October 29, 2013 (edited) Not a vendor, but I've been to all of the Buckeye Classics so far, and I plan to attend this one as well. I really enjoy this show. I see it's in Hilliard this year. The old location was outgrown, I hope? Edited October 29, 2013 by Repstock
Ramcharger Posted November 4, 2013 Posted November 4, 2013 We have a new website!! There is a little info about the contest with more to come. Don't forget about the Ohio Challenge, this year the kit is the Revell 1957 Ford Custom 300. This is an open challenge to all the model clubs in the state of Ohio to build this kit any way you want, and there is a special trophy to the winner and the winning club. Rob Smorey won it last year, let's see who can win it this year! Here's the link to the website: https://sites.google.com/site/bsacohio82/
