This was a build I put together for my Dad. He restored a 66 stang about 10 years ago and I was inspired to recreate his build. Thanks for checking it out and all comments and tips are welcome!

This is my Dads stang

and here is what I came up with

I love it,I just looked over the wip on it and I have to say it is one of the best looking 66 mustang builds I have seen in along time.

Its funny that you mention the brakes. This kit was (from what I could tell) dated in the late 80s early 90s. It did not include any kind of brakes. It had two metal rods that slid through the molded rear end and through the molded front end. The entire front and rear end were molded as one piece on the frame. It didn't include any brake system components at all. I was wondering that myself when I opened the kit but I did what I could with what I was given lol. Thats also why I didn't put any pics of the chasis of this build because it was kinda cheesy in my opinion. But all in all it was a good build for me to get back into the swing of things.

looks awesome, nice wheels, I would like the stance a little lower, but that is my taste

I have to agree with you but with the way the chassis was molded I couldn't figure out how to get the stance any lower. (that will come with more experience on my behalf). I should have taken pics of the way the chassis was made to get some more input but honestly I was excited to have something completed! lol

Very NICE reproduction of the 1:1, ahhh brings back fond memories, I had a 66 red on red, if I had only had the insight back then I would still have it today, you did a great job!! :D
