A sileighty 180sx is a nissan 180sx with front end parts from the JDM rs13. I took it one step further and put parts from a skyline r34

Did you use the Skyline chassis or did Fujimi just save money and use same for both? Nice weathering on the chassis; but two of the tires are on inside out. Be curious to see how front end looks with lens in. Cool build none the less!

They must have just used the same. Ill fix the tires. Did not notice the tires. Ill fix it. Got to get some cleAr acetate to make the lights. This 180 kit was lame. I did learn that flocking is agravating. It gets everywhere.

Here are some build ups

For the headlights Gary, there are a few options for projectors: You can use sequins from Michael's (they would stand out the best because of the dark blue), or what I like to use is small led bulbs from Radio Shack (very subtle though). Then you just shape the GTR headlight bucket and install them in there. Just an idea.

Love what you did with your "Sil" Gary!!!

Flocking tip to keep mess down...

put the cassis in a smallish plastic box. Think zip lock throw away type thing. I use the plastic boxes baby wipes come in (three kids in 8 year so I have a few). I use glue from Woodland Scenic. Model RR guys use it to cover big areas in grass and similar stuff. Tape off areas to not flock and cover the rest in a good helping of the glue. Put the chassis in the box. Dump the flocking into a hand held sifter / strainer and shake it out into the box. Wait for the glue to dry over night. Then you can just tap the left overs into the corner of the box and dump it back into a small bag or similar container. I found a seasoning rack at a garage sale with all the jars - all empty... jackpot.

two more tips -

1. paint the area to be flocked in color close to the flocking color

2. you can try pressing the flocking into the glue - I've had mixed results so ...

phew! great looking build
