Awesome job, coming from a car hauler. I run a cottrell stinger, but we recently sold a miller 7 car and thats as close as it can get.

Hey, Gregg....I used Krylon's Chrysler Hemi Orange engine paint over flat black.....Excellent coverage.....You can find it at Auto Zone or Home Depot, even.....

Great. I just so happen to have a can of that color I decanted. Thanks for info. If I can get half the paint job you got that beautiful truck I'll be happy.

I get great results from that paint shot from the can....I think the flat black for primer is what brings it out.....I don't think you can miss with this paint....Good luck, Buddy....

No....That cheap Walmart paint....It's an Excellent primer as it's super flat...And cheap....At .98 cents a can, you can't beat it.....Also Home Depot sells a flat black that is a perfect match for Testors 1411 Flat black.....Also less than a dollar a can.....It's too cheap to ruin plastic.....

Thanks again JT. Man I am sure glad someone else thinks like me on the cheap primer and flat black. I've been using both of them and had great results. As I've found if you prep right in the first place the cheap stuff works pretty darn good as a primer. I doesn't hide the details either. Super thanks again JT for the info. Man I learn something on this forum each and every time I visit.
