  1. Check out their site. Lots of how to videos, great stuff. In a nutshell, prep surace as smooth as possible, high gloss black base, mist on chrome.
  2. Gentlemen, thank you for the kind words. This is a great hobby.
  3. That's fun. Cool. I can see this driving around to events as promo.
  4. Very cool to look at, nice and different. Those hand painted flames are impressive.
  5. Great job on the build and the weathering. Looks really great.
  6. Very very cool. You struck a great balance in the finish of this beauty.
  7. Thank you so very much guys. I really appreciate it, glad you guys dig it regardless of your preference. I realize that Rat Rods aren't everyone's thing and some folks really don't like them at all but it's cool that you like the model. Doobie; do it man, no worries. Looking forward to what you come up with.
  8. Thanks Dale. No worries on the preference; it would be fun to build something like this is more of a hot rod style as opposed to rat rod; maybe someday.
  9. Thanks for the comments. Yup, it's big and ugly, for sure.
  10. Incredible work in this thread. Wicked. The grill in this build. Is that a kit part or aftermarket? Pretty cool.
  11. Thank you guys. Its 1/25. The 5th wheel was weathered with AK Interactive pigments and washes. I built up the grime over 5 sessions with drying time inbetween. Appreciate the comments. It was a fun project.
  12. Been browsing here looking at all the incredible work. Thought I'd post this. Base kit is the recent Revell 359 Peterbilt. I scratch built the frame, suspension, exhaust. Channeled the body, suicide doors and fabricated bomber seats and visor with cookie tin sheet. Finally I gave her a nasty name as an attempt to push it over the edge, designed the logo and made the decals. Thanks for looking.
  13. Very cool, and well documented build.
