Heres a project that i'd started on a couple of weeks ago. I'd painted the body, frame, hood scoop, front & rear facias with Model Master German Silver to replicate the hue that was on the Landy car.

Just an FYI. Mopar "chassis" were never painted completely body color. They were primer with body color overspray. Not knocking your work or nitpicking, just passing on a little info ..

Thanks for the tip i usually prime my Mopar frames with the body color overspray on my factory stock builds beings this build is a drag car i'd figured it wasnt all that important. But if it means that much i'll strip the paint off the frame and redo it no big deal on my end.

Nothing like that man, I was just passing a little knowledge .. mopar was famous for lousy paint jobs back in the day .

Its cool i appreciate you passing it on. I guess the frame is going in the dip tank redo it all over again which is no big deal.

IMO leave it as is.

Mopar chassis's were a light grey primer( in most cases ) so a silver chassis is not that far of a stretch.

Another scenario is did the actual car start life as an actual silver car

I'll stay tuned either way.... I did this very car using an original MPC annual ( it was before the revell kit existed ) And have been looking for a 1968 Coronet kit to do the brother Mike drove
