Southern Fried Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 other than the chopped top? I have an idea for an early Gasser.
Eshaver Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 The only useful thing I have seen is someone did a convertible out of one . Even then, convertible top pieces would need to be sourced .................
Rob Hall Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 The only useful thing I have seen is someone did a convertible out of one . Even then, convertible top pieces would need to be sourced ................. What would be the point since Revell already has a stock '48 convertible kit.
Brett Barrow Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Check out Tim Boyd's 48 Ford Gasser build for the "other magazine". He did exactly that. It's an online-exclusive article, I won't post a link since they're the competition...
Erik Smith Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Yup, custom only. Chopped top, shaved trim. You would need the convertible version with a top from the Testor's IMC version. There was quite a bit of info on the kit here on the forum when it was released - probably a search would give you a bunch of info.
