fantacmet Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Here is the DoH Daisy's Roadrunner. Obviously I didn't build it from the show. Decided to do it as a curbside with no engine. I would have it all together but I can't find where I put the dashboard. HAH. Once I do I just have to paint the headliner, and slap it together. Pretty much it's all out of the box except for the wheels and the brake discs I will be putting in. Wheels are from Pegasus. Color is testors customer laquer system, Plum Crazy Purple Metallic.
mikelo Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 Very nice. I like where you went with this. Are those the last version kit supplied decals? I need a set of those. Mike
fantacmet Posted November 18, 2013 Author Posted November 18, 2013 Yes they are. If you need red or black let me know, I'd be happy to send them to you. I believe I still have them in good shape. I can check. I know I won't be using them.
Scale-Master Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 That thing really jumps out at you. Great color combo.
fantacmet Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 (edited) I just gotta figure out a way to put some brake discs on there and fine where I put the dashboard. LOL. then I can slap it together and it'll be done. Found the dashboard, now I have to figure out brake discs(calipers not needed), and then figure out how to get the dash to fit. The factory fit of the dash in the kit is VERY poor. As in it doesn't fit. Like the interior tub is 24th scale and the dash is 25th scale. Edited November 20, 2013 by fantacmet
