Speedfreak Posted November 25, 2013 Posted November 25, 2013 Looking for something to add a little shine to the acrylic, I have auto 'wax' and the Novus #1. Thanks
935k3 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Try ZYMOL brand wax instead. Other waxes tend to remove the Future. Zymol deepens and enhances the gloss and it smells good too due to coconut oil in it.
Speedfreak Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 Thanks Dale, I went ahead and used the Novus, it worked ok. Sounds like Zymol would be worth a try. I know other people that use it. Thanks again for the response.
Skip Posted November 28, 2013 Posted November 28, 2013 Years ago I remember seeing an article in Fine Scale Modeler about polishing out future. I think they used a polishing kit, even burying the decals between coats. The article was on a P-51 Mustang Air Racer, they came out with a miles deep finish that looked like the finishes seen on aircraft.
