Thanks Slusher.....I had this kit for awhile now and just got way to bored last night lol

Been at it all day...All my other projects are at a stand still until I can paint

Got everything shaved, holes& handles filled in,blacked out parts on the wheels, custom made the grille in it,and also got the bed cut out

  • 2 weeks later...

Every slammed dually everyone does,is a Chevy...So thats why I went this way on it.....When they are on air ride, you can make it over bumps and stuff and still be able to pull with it also...

Im more of a slammed person (screen name lol) than the lifted 4wd...But everyone has their own taste and thats what makes us all different

I agree whit your last words, and I'm a man that like both kind of trucks, the lifted 4X4 and the lowered-too-the-floor ones, and even if it can be used for what they been made: to load things.

This thing looks cool so far. I dunno how low you plan on going but, I actually drilled through the frame on mine and made spindles from round sprue to lay it down. Here's a pic during decaling.

Jake, that's what's awesome...everyone has different opinions. I always think a truck that's laid out looks cool parked under the same kind of truck customized and lifted.
