Metalmad Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 (edited) Picked up the Revell 2010 Shelby Mustang today with 50% off coupon from Michael's & have been looking for this kit for few weeks so what do you think will happen to these two kits? This will be a project I will tackle after the Bee is finished & the LS 9 Vette . Edited December 16, 2013 by Metalmad
kobuzz Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 split them down the middle and have half new and half old or one of those cars with 2 front ends that can drive either way?
cobraman Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Gotta be an older Stang with more modern running gear. ???
Ramcharger Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 The same thing I'm doing to my '68, restomod! It's almost too easy not to do it. Or, you could put the older running gear in the newer body, now that would be different!
Metalmad Posted December 17, 2013 Author Posted December 17, 2013 (edited) Yes going to Resto Mod it but its two builds away. Sometimes I get ahead of myself which I'm still working on the Bee & also started on the clean up of the LS9 Z06 Corvette body which I have filled in the body lines and removed the mold lines also. Don't much care for the body lines on the Vette and when I built the 2010 SS Camaro I also filled in the body lines which I think takes away the body lines and by filling the body lines makes the body look a lot more sleeker. ScaleDale Posted December 17, 2013 Posted December 17, 2013 You're going to Retro both cars. Hit the 2010 with a BOSS feel and GT the '70 Dale
