rollinoldskoo Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 long going project based on an old MPC kit... almost done.... gettin a tuned port motor from a corvette kit... any questions and comments welcome....
Robert81 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Looks sweet. I'm not a lowrider guy, but I love all El Caminos. The front suspenion looks better than any 80's kit I've seen, is that from the 70 monte?
rollinoldskoo Posted November 26, 2007 Author Posted November 26, 2007 yes, the front suspension is from the 70 monte carlo kit.... they put very little effort into detailing the molded on front suspension....
JAFFA Posted November 27, 2007 Posted November 27, 2007 Thats alot of red! Looks good, i like those pumps ya got, home-manufactured right?? Now i gotta get home and finnish my 70MC!!
rollinoldskoo Posted November 28, 2007 Author Posted November 28, 2007 yea and i got a 75 caprice promo i'm working on with just as much blue a buddy of mine makes those hydraulic parts... he's gettin ready to go into full production so if u want more info, let me know...
rollinoldskoo Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 added a bit more detail to the pumps....
dub Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Those hydro pumps are awesome! They're machined metal, right? I've been around a few lowriders in my time, they're just not my thing, but this is a clean build like most of them are. I do like the color, and I can't wait to see the engine. Keep it up!
rollinoldskoo Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 yes, the pumps are made from aluminum harder to work with than plastic but the look is unreal...
JAFFA Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Well a few o those pumps would be nice, but i just dont put very much money into the hobby...
