Figures to suit 1950s & 1960s

Hi everyone,

Im building a large diorama based around the movie American Graffiti. Im wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for figures. Im looking for 1/24 or 1/25 or G scale figures that will suit a 1950s or early 60s theme. I have the odd figure here already that will suit but wondering if anyone knows of any resin casters making figures?

I have noticed that Revell has made some figures based on the characters from American Graffiti. These were supplied in some Matchbox sized cars as well as of the die cast cars. They fetch some pretty large $ on ebay now & they are very hard to find. Has anyone casted any of those figures?

Any help would be great.

There are plenty in the train section on ebay. I saw a lot of 25 unpainted for less then 20.
