I have been wanting to start a collection of "Grumpy's Toys" for years. I am not getting any younger and the dust is getting deeper on the donor kits. The kit I am using for Toy II is AMt's 67 Camaro Z-28.

Not a bad kit but not the greatest either. First thing to do is remove the door and quarter window trim (1968 option) and give the car the sexy shape it deserves.I used a scribe tool and tape for a guide.

Another thing that bothers me about this kit are the seats. Even if the car had the rare option headrest they did not look like this

One out of the box - the other after the razor saw and sanding stick

I also had to make up a pair of slicks to fit under the factory wheel wells. Finding a donor pair of tires ,a Dremel tool with a sanding stick got the results I wanted.

Test fitting the L-88 427 , also used some sheet styrene to fill the channel of the subframe.

I have the stance that I want

Thanks for following along, tips and comments always welcome.
