mk11 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Does anyone make a decent representative of this size tire in smooth or grip style? Gonna need some for a realistic look on a certain upcoming issue of a 4x4 Ford pickup....
rickcaps55 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 B)Hi try Modelhaus he has a lot of tires I have found 95% of the tires I needed from him. Good luck Rick.
mikemodeler Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I think the early versions of the AMT Ford truck kits from the 70's had these tires. I will check my spares box as I used to have one of these kits with the slotted truck wheels.I agree it would be nice to have these tires available in a deep lug tread pattern along with some 8 lug steel wheels.
dannyi Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Hey fellas' wanted to let you know that I'm working on some 8 lug steel wheels. The Chevy 8 lugs are a scale 15" so they would fit most kit tires and will be available sometime later today or tomorrow on my web site and e-bay, along with the rubber Suburbanite tires. The taller non script rubber tire (scale 29") will be available within the next week or so. Also, the have a scale 16.5" steel 8 lug coming soon with 2W and 4W hubs. I'll have two types of tires for those wheels as well. The non script tire and the Bridgestone Desert Dueler (scale 32"). Edited January 4, 2014 by dannyi
