Warren23
Its been a while since I have posted some artwork, so after much drawing here is one I did a couple of months ago for a friendly competition. The theme of the particular round was set around the rims, and so I ran with a previous idea of propellor themed rims. That lead to '' Pride of Britian'' - an E type Jaguar with a heavy Supermarine theme to it. I was very happy with the result and thought that this could make for a pretty cool build. Jantrix
Wow. That is really great work. It's very well thought out right down to the propeller design of the wheels. Well done sir!
pharoah
Really nice! I like your style. That reminds me of the old Aroura (?) kits of the 60's that had a WW2 theme There was a Jaguar ,a Mercedes, and something else.

You mean sth. like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1960-Aurora-Ferrari-Tiger-Shark-Customizing-Car-Model-Kit-Kits-Complete-/271365246260 Nope, that's not it. I've done some searches and can't find anything. If I remember, the boxes were an olive drab color. The GT-40 may have had the sharks teeth on it though. This drawing below is a Datsun Pickup with a japanese Zero theme to it.
pharoah
Very nice Sven! I belong to a couple of Datsun forums. Several guys have put rising suns on their hoods or tailgates. There was a 510 wagon that was painted like a P-40 with the teeth on the sides That is an old truck. 312? I have a '73 PL620 that I redid. Harry P.
Very nice! Colored pencil?
Warren23
Thanks John, that '73 PL620 looks like a nice pickup, and I reckon it looks pretty cool redone. A friend of mine did a Nissan Z 240 with a Zero theme - and as I'm into hot rods and trucks I thought the theme would work well on the Datsun. And Harry P. - yes all colored pencil.
