Mike Chernecki Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I noticed Firebird Designs Decals http://firebird-designs.ecrater.com/ on ebay a few weeks back. Just wondering if anyone has tried these. How are they? Do they fit well? Good color? etc Thanks
Mopar Mike Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 I've dealt with him several times. Great products and fast service. Usually receive the decals in a week.MikeMopar To Ya
64SS350 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Honestly I am not impressed. Ordered two sets, a Yenko set and a Rat Vega set. The Yenko set had lines in that looked like knife lines, he said they were from an Alps printer that only printed in 1/2 in. strips, hence the lines, and they tore easily. Ended up trashing them. The Rat Vega set I haven't used yet, but when he cleared them, there is dust under the clear. Judge for yourself.
Devilsnake98 Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Ive only used 1 set. They looked really nice on the sheet they come on. They are NOT white backed and are completely transparent though, pretty much meaning that you can only use them over white or really light colored paint, unless the decal is solid black. I put them over medium metallic green and could barely see them.
om617 Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 (edited) I have several sheets and they sure look nice. Have yet to try it on. The description clearly says it should be used on light colors. Well,so far i can just say shipping is fast (i live in Norway) and customer sercvice is excellent. Also, you always get thrown in some number plates on the order. I know it`s no big deal but i appriciate small things in life Edited January 21, 2014 by om617
