Baugher Garage Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Found this old beast parked in a pole barn (OK, I made it, but pretending's part of the hobby, right?) 1
Apriliadan Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 Truck looks cool, how many colors are in there?
the goon Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 (edited) Very nice. Like the hubcaps on the beam. I love beaters. Mark Edited January 20, 2014 by the goon
bbowser Posted January 20, 2014 Posted January 20, 2014 This is way cool, very convincing weathering! I love the old barn setting too. Great work.
Baugher Garage Posted January 21, 2014 Author Posted January 21, 2014 Thanks all! I started doing weathered cars when I realized I didn't have the skills to turn out a good shiny paint job. From there I just kinda developed a liking for rust buckets and barn finds. Most if the time I start with a coat of red oxide primer, some overspray of brown textured rust oleum then start painting with acrylics. The windshield was done with a drill, xacto knife and sand paper. And yea, let's restore it!!
