Chris guthro Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Well after my dog ate everything on my white western star, the only thing that made te crash was the cab, so trying my best to save it the only way I knew how to was make it a load, as if someone had purchased maybe a southern cab and got it shipped. I had made the pallet from Popsicle sticks, and the chain is from the dollor store. I may try this again with maybe a pickup truck box, or maybe an old Mack hood
olsbooks Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 BAD DOG! But you pulled off something really nice here. Like the pallet!
disabled modeler Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 I like it...sorry about the truck though. The White Western Star is one of my favorite truck kits...love the old school stuff. Nice save!
Brinx Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 From a disaster to a VICTORY....great save! (love the pallet too)
kilrathy10 Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 (edited) That, actually looks pretty cool....I had a dog that ate one of the fairings on a Freightliner FLD, once....I had to totally rebuild the front portion of the fairing from scratch....Came out pretty good.....Sorry to hear about the demise of yours, though....Bad Puppy.... Old Buckaroo Posted January 23, 2014 Posted January 23, 2014 Dogs are suppose to eat homework not models. Nice looking cab and great idea - would look perfect on a flatbed load.
Casey429 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Sorry about the loss of your Star, but at least you were able to save something. Looks good.
