Jefbo Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Hi all, This is my first Truck Build. Size was pretty intimidating at first. I don’t know much about trucks so I had to do a lot of research. She's about 90% done. I still need to add airlines and some plumbing & wiring. Also need to rub out the clear. Oh yeah... I just found the shifter I dropped on the floor 4 months ago, so I can add that. I don't know what happened to the middle of the build photos I did enter it in a contest that had a "big Rig" theme class, and won first place OK... It was the only big rig entered Jefbo
mackinac359 Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Very nice. The blue flames turned out nicely. Tim
Old Albion Posted December 7, 2007 Posted December 7, 2007 Great looking Truck!! The big Ford looks well and would look great pulling a Reefer trailer in polished Aluminum or white.
Diesel Gypsy Posted December 8, 2007 Posted December 8, 2007 Very very nice. I just love those flames. Impressive for your first truck build.
EaglePassNative Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Well I just have to chime in here on your flame job too. I really like um. Great job on the build, did I mention I like the flames. COOOOOOL.
locoengr Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Very nice work!! The paint job is one of the best I've ever seen too!! It's friggin' scary if this is your first truck build. There is no romm for improvement when your first try is the top shelf. But, did you see that you forgot the crankcase dip stick? The pic that shows the engine sitting by itself the dip stick is not there. But, who am I to judge as my work is many levels below this.
