bbowser Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Looking for comments / critiques of this kit? Seen a couple on eBay, wondering if they're reasonable or Palmer-like? Thanks....
Deathgoblin Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 They're VERY nice. The tires are hard plastic, but it's very detailed. There's a '31 Cadillac in the same series that's also quite nice.
Edsel-Dan Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 They are IMPORT kits I believe owned by Italeri And boxed/sold here. I have 2 Different Cadillac's in that series, and a 33 Chrysler. Or Parts from one. Like most Italeri kits, the bodies are Multi-piece!! Even their Semi's are!!!!
Modelmartin Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 They are actually quite nice if you can handle the idea of multi-piece bodies and plastic tires. They are quite accurate and well detailed. I find them to be fairly easy to build for a reasonably skilled builder.
The Creative Explorer Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Like most Italeri kits, the bodies are Multi-piece!! Even their Semi's are!!!! Not true, with cars, only a few cars have a multi-piece body and then only of the vintage cars. All modern cars have a one-piece molded body
Edsel-Dan Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Nice to know I don't have, Nor have I even Seen Modern Cars from them. Just the Classic's like this Rolls, and My Caddy's!!
Zarana-X Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 If its any help, I have the 1931 Caddillac. It is an Italeri kit and is very nice. The body is about what you would expect from most 30's era car kits; Full frame, a floor with fenders, main body, radiator grille, two half hoods, running boards, and a removable roof.
Edsel-Dan Posted January 30, 2014 Posted January 30, 2014 Which one?? I have 2 different ones!! Closed Town Car, And open Pheaton
