The Moparian Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 I'll spare the details as it can be found in my build thread "One fun wrangler" so here's the finished product. Let me know what you all think.
MsDano85gt Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 i'm taking a guess but logics say the blue piping goes down to the bottom of the snorkel?? thats my edjucated guess anyways really cool!! yo uhad to open up the hood and detail engine bay??
jrherald420 Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Nice work! I have this kit to build, i am planning on dropping in a Hemi from either the 68 Dart or 68 Charger kits.
The Moparian Posted January 27, 2014 Author Posted January 27, 2014 Thanks everyone. And you would be correct on all accounts Dano, I wanted to keep the snorkel functional cause it really adds to the appeal of the jeep. And I did have to cut open the hood. Also, I had to cut off the "engine" on the bottom of the chassis. It was a fun project though.
Chris White Posted January 27, 2014 Posted January 27, 2014 Nice, finally a Jeep with a motor, my compliments
Chuck Most Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Nice! Makes me want to get going on my own "powered" Wrangler now, except I'll be using an MPC Pacer six with a resin copy of the Tamiya wrangler valve cover, and a few modified and scratchbuilt parts to update it to 2001-2006 specs.
The Moparian Posted January 28, 2014 Author Posted January 28, 2014 Thanks Chris. And Chuck, I can't wait to see that.
