microboyca Posted January 28, 2014 Posted January 28, 2014 Hello All, I have just gotten back into car models, after a trip to my local HS to get some supplies for my other genres of model making (Sci fi and steampunk gadgets) that I had not built a car model for many years. So I picked up the Revell K.S. Pittman Willy's drag coupe ant the AMT 3 in 1 model "T".After painting the body of the Willys and assembling the chassis I have to wait for the paint to cure so I went about scratchbuilding a brass tube frame and converting the model T chopped coupe body into a Competition coupe dragster.I will post pics and a description in the appropriate section of the forum.I've also been to a lot of the local drag racing tracks in the past and I'm having a blast doing these models. Cheers, Ron.
