_TRF_ Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I'm into old Touring cars and i always liked those fat touring cars. Since Alfa Romeo is one of my fovourite brands, i do like the Alfa Romeo Guilia Super very much. But there is no version as touring car on the market, so i have to build such a version on my own. scale is 1/24. Here are a few pics from building the car. I'm not sure about the rear spoiler. Whether i should build a small one on the bootlid, no rear spoiler or a big one?! What do you think?
om617 Posted February 2, 2014 Posted February 2, 2014 Looking good! Here is one from Norway for inspiration.
_TRF_ Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 Martini colors always look GREAT! thanks for the great pic
_TRF_ Posted February 2, 2014 Author Posted February 2, 2014 thanks i think the Guilia will get no rear spoiler. The Martini Alfa on the pic looks great without
_TRF_ Posted February 16, 2014 Author Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) The Alfa is finished. It it decaled in 70ies style. It was a hard work to widen the body and make it clean, but I think it was worth the effort. Edited February 16, 2014 by _TRF_
GlueTube Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 Michael, Was the kit originaly resin? What brand did you start with. Id like to build m own. You've inspred me. Regards Brian
_TRF_ Posted February 17, 2014 Author Posted February 17, 2014 It was an plastic kit. Maybe it was an old Wave or old Heller kit from the 70ies.
sjordan2 Posted February 17, 2014 Posted February 17, 2014 As a previous owner of 4 Alfa spiders and GT coupes, this is very close to my heart. Great job!
