She was truly the love of his life, stuck with him through thick and thin. It is a great story if you haven't read it I would highly recommend it to anyone. R.I.P. Pat.

They were married 59 years! I think she was older than 61.

Very sad but she had a long and rich life.

They were married 61 years, and Pat was 79 years old....edited title.

Thanks Casey. I was still trying to wake up when I posted the thread.

I got to meet her 1 time when I went to the museum She was in the gift shop, and was a really sweet lady. My condolences to her husband and family... A truly sad day.

I met her and him once at MN back to the 50's I think it was 02-03ish and they walked by my dodge holding each others hand and I sort of stalked them for a bit cause I didn't know if they would mind being bothered super nice people I talked with them for a few minutes. she was very sweet and asked which car was mine. I was embarassed to say which one. Very sad to hear my heart goes out to Don because you could tell there was a strong bond there. I still don't know if they were part of a booth or just at the show.
