I'm wanting to do a mirror finish on a car I have on the bench, My problem is I'm not great at painting lol.. I dont have a airbrush so have to use a rattle can. I want to get away from Gloss enamal just did some research and find its thick and already now how long it takes to dry lol.. Craft store nearby sells Model master paints is that enamel"?. Is it worth the cost for the little can over a much larger one like Krylon

I believe it's what's called modified enamel but behaves like lacquer so far as dry times, etc. I usually clear my builds because it's safer when polishing to polish clear.

Is duplicolor Enamal. Should I get the gloss

Duplicolor paints are lacquer. You need the prime/sealer, the color coat of your choice, and the gloss clearcoat. Give each one at least a full day to dry.
