I'm Michael and my last car model was in 1975, since then I've built Tall Ships in plastic and the last 20 years plank in plank wooden Historical Sailing Ships. Folks, I'm so old I can remember my Dad driving home in his brand new 56 Olds. :D

Here's the scoop;

My name is Michael, and I'm a Mopar addict. Always was, and always will be. I've seen them towed off the Dealer's Showroom, because Super Stock Dodges could not be driven off because single plane intakes and slow starts didn't mix well. I watched from the infield of Daytona Speedway while Richard Petty ran away with the first Hemi win three days before my birthday. I've watched Ronnie Sox battle with Dyno Don in several Match Races at AHRA dragstrips in the mid 60's. Ronnie got him every time. Mr. Martin would spread out the rosin before the start. The place was rockin'. Don Nicholson was a wonderful fighter, and his cars looked real good.

I'm learning about resin stuff, and have already acquired parts from Comp Resin, MegaHobby, and an eBay Seller who had several Lindberg 64 Dodges as donors. I'll do a Dodge S/S or two for the beginning to become acquainted again, but Speed City Resin is sooo-oooon coming my way. I need some A/FX boost.

I would like to learn more about present day car model building, and I'm very enthused about what all of you guys are doing!!

Thanks for looking my way, and greetings,

Michael
