High octane Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Anyone here vent their paint fumes in a bucket instead of a vent outside? Any pictures of how this is done? TIA
my80malibu Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I think if you connect the Vent hose to the top of the bucket, and have the bucket filled about 1/2 way with activated Charcoal. Then have an exit hose on the opposite side, is how its done. I remember seeing pictures long ago .But cant remember where. It could have been Car Modeler Magazine, or SAE.

Skip Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Thats a recipe for a bomb! Dont do it!That's what I thought too. Considering a few of the people who post stuff on this board smoke or use open flames to bend stuff. So concentrating the flammable vapors into one confined space could get rather exciting, quickly too!
