Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) This is going to be my next build. Thinking of keePing it old school with original rims, but do the flames represent a 1960's era??? Need my older generation modelers to help me with this. You've been there. Thanks!!! 62rebel Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 those style flames resemble Watson's work; so, yep; appropriate for '60's.... those "donkey" rims aren't, though.
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Lol definitely not using those. That have the originals in the kit. Whose Watson??
W-409 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Here are a couple of pictures of Larry Watson's flame paint jobs: I think Larry's flames are the most beautiful flames I've seen on Custom Cars. Today's True Flames paint jobs just don't look good. I hope these pictures give inspiration.
bpletcher55 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 astock truck sitting low on steelies and wide whites with flames now that is just to cool,
Field_Artillery63 Posted March 16, 2014 Author Posted March 16, 2014 Wow!!! That's beautiful!!! The talents and skill of some People are just amazing. Thanks alot Niko!!
slusher Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Looking forward to your build Joshua, my opinion flames are always cool and work on all builds.
