No Sr.!!!! This car is NOT a copy of any Ford!!!

It was developed still DURING the Great Patriotic War, with bombs falling, near and at times at the Gorky plant. It was sold for the first time in 1946, to help the moral and put the country back on wheels.

Pobeda means Victory, and it's just what this little car means.

actually looks more Chrysler-inspired from the dash, but definitely Soviet in the steel. not a big fan of the fastback design, but not only would I love to have a kit, I'd love to have one of the 1:1's.

That's a pretty darn good looking Russian car! And the model looks greatly detailed ... check the brake lines on the movable wheels!

Oh no? Laugh this off-

That's a copy of a '48 Chevy

Galaxie models has a nice kit of it.

And NO, the Pobeda doesn't look like a '48 Ford.

I like the GAZ M-20 styling a lot better than the '48 Ford's.

Have you looked at model in the video? I don't see how anyone could look at the Pobeda and say, "that looks just like a '47 Ford four door sedan." Well, I guess you do somehow.
