Jon Haigwood Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) One of my Projects is recreate my 1:1 scale 66 Barracuda I have found an old kit and found an engine (318/340) but still need some slotted aluminum wheels to match mine. Anyone know of a kit with this syle or a site that sells them? Thanks Jon Edited April 6, 2014 by Jon Haigwood
vypurr59 Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 (edited) Model car Roundup has the wheels. Plastic Performance Products is the manufacturer. As for glue, I use Testors tube, Tenex liquid, and super glues. For putty, I use a 2 part made by bondo. Edited April 6, 2014 by vypurr59
Casey Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Are these close enough?: For glue, I recommend Testors liquid cement in the glass jar, with the brush attached to the lid. Do not use the orange or blue tubes of glue...those are a mess and not easy to work with. You can use Squadron's white putty for small, shallow areas needing filling. If you have deeper areas, I recommend a two-part filler, such as Bondo, Evercoat's Eurosoft, or similar.
