PappyD340 Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Awesome indeed, wish my photography skills were at that level!!
Harry P. Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 It looks like he's not actually manipulating the photo (like Photoshopping it)... it's the way he sets up and shoots the photo that's the trick part.
Austin T Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 That's some pretty sweet photography. I wonder how he made that tornado, I need to make one in 1/87th scale for a lasercut building that got stepped on.

There is photoshop used in each one, but it's definitely the ability to line up the shots that makes it work.
highway Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I think, even though they are some very nice photos, half the fun for me is GETTING the photo. I like the lighting pic, but it is more challenging, and a LOT more rewarding, to capture the REAL THING!! That pic took me almost an hour using different techniques and finally using the "Burst" mode on my camera to capture, and there is nothing faked about it. This was taken in August 2012 at a rest area on I 26 Northbound near Newberry, SC with the storm off to the west. I will be doing some editing work on it, though. I'll be replacing the Werner truck with my Ford custom sleeper rig whenever it is finally finished, and this will be the final touch of the custom. It makes sense, since the truck's already been given lighting murals for the side of the sleeper, and this will be on the back of the sleeper with the Ford's name above it, "Thunderstruck".
mnwildpunk Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 The artist of the photos has talent. Highway I like your photo more simply because it is real
