Goodwrench3 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Thanks guys! Cappy,I did the gauge bezels using Testors Chrome Silver (drybrushed) and then did the back faces with Flat black craft paint, then I carefully scraped away the paint from the dials and needles with an X-Acto knife, next step was to add some Neon green (also craft paint) to the numerals,Neon red to the needles with a sharpened toothpick. Then a dab of clear epoxy to seal everything up. I invested in a good amount of craft paints in various colors, personally I like the stuff for certain things, its cheap, goes on nice, and very forgiving with any mishaps!...............................MarkThe dash looks super !!OK... newbie question. What is "craft paint" (i.e. Brand, where to buy it, etc.) ?? And why use it vs. regular Testors or Model Master paints ?Another Newbie question.. re: ",I did the gauge bezels using Testors Chrome Silver (drybrushed)" -- what exactly do you mean by "drybrushed" ?Thanks !!!
