ERIK88 Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 Hi , for the people that have had the amt belvedere pontiac , does the kit Coe. With dual carburetor as well? lol I guess I'll have to find dual carbs in the stash ...
Ace-Garageguy Posted May 5, 2014 Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) Do you mean PLYMOUTH Belvedere? No such thing as a "Pontiac Belvedere". And no, the AMT Plymouth Belvedere kit does not come with dual carbs. Edited May 5, 2014 by Ace-Garageguy
ERIK88 Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 Ok my mistake , I blame I on auto spell .... The real Christine was a plymouth fury, I'm trying to fig out if there are dual carbs in the amt Christine reboxing . The real Christine had dual carbs Thanks ace garage guyI think I'll just get some dual carbs from my stash
espo Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 Did something on the same order, but used the manifolds, carbs and air cleaners from the AMT '57 Chrysler 300. I know the 300 is a Hemi and the Plymouth engine is not, but it didn't take much sanding for it all to fit. I don't know where you would ever find the OEM air cleaners that Mopar used at this time. They had very low hood lines.
Longbox55 Posted May 6, 2014 Posted May 6, 2014 If you can find one, the old Johan '60 Desoto has the correct intake and air filters for the Golden Commando 350 that was in Christine. You will have to Alclad, BMF, or send the air cleaners to chrome to get the correct chrome finish, as the Desoto parts are not chromed.
ERIK88 Posted May 6, 2014 Author Posted May 6, 2014 I might just do something of that nature espo, I think it will be hard finding a desoto but it will be in my thoughts if I come across one .
